Albert Halls Wedding Fair

We will be attending the fantastic wedding fair held at the Albert Halls in Bolton town centre this Sunday 20th February. The day starts at 11am - 4pm and includes a selection of Boltons best wedding service providers. There will be three catwalk shows throughout the day so come and check out the stunning dresses availble for your big day.

If you are still looking for your wedding photographer we will be available to chat to with a selection of our albums for you to check out. With our bespoke wedding packages we are sure there will be something for all. 

Possibly due to the Royal Wedding taking place this year, 2011 is set to be very popular with loved up couples. We still have a few dates available for this year and are taking bookings now for 2012 and 2013. It's dead simple to book your date with us all you need is £150 deposit then there is nothing else to pay until 6 weeks before the wedding - you don't even need to finalise your package choice until then.

A wedding fair is one of the best chances to view the different options and styles available with a selection of providers under one roof.  So if you are getting married come down and see whats on offer.

With Valentines Day approaching fast we thought we'd celebrate the month of February with a special offer to all you loved up romantic couples out there.

Whether you've been together for years, are at the start of a new romance or just got engaged why not consider a having a fantastic portrait of just the two of you.

We are offering a photo-shoot and framed desk portrait to all couples who book in during February for only £45.

Also for those of you who are getting married then we are continuing our special offer wedding photography package if booked before the end of February.

You will have 2 photographers covering your wedding from the arrival of the groom and guests at the ceremony venue until you are to sit down for your wedding breakfast (approx 4 hours). We will take a mixture of posed and group shots along with the natural reportage photos of you and your guests enjoying the day. A preview book and DVD slideshow of all the edited images will be yours to select up to 150 images which will then be digitally designed into a leather bound 10"x8" storybook album. A pre-wedding photo-shoot and 10"x8" print will be included along with a framed 16" print of your favourite wedding day image. All of this is available for only £850, but must be booked before the end of the month.

We still have a few dates left this year although it is proving to be much more popular time to get married than last year was, bookings are being taken for 2012 and even into 2013 for those very organised couples!

Michelle and Craig Tie the Knot



On a snowy 23rd December 2010 Michelle and Craig were married in a lovely civil ceremony at Farington Lodge surrounded by their friends and family.

It was a gorgeous day with the snow making a beautiful backdrop to the photos creating the scenes most of us envisage when we decide to marry at Christmas time. The only difficulty encountered really was that the wedding car was unable to get there due to the icy roads - never mind though as Michelle turned up happy and smiling in a neighbours AA driving school car instead.

The sun stayed with us throughout the day lending crisp blue skies during the afternoon before turning the sky and snow a warm golden tone as it set behind the trees. Here are a few of my favourites from this magical snowy wedding day.

Happy New Year!

Well, it's the start of a brand new year and I think everyone is keeping fingers crossed that 2011 will be better than 2010. With the studio reopening on 5th January after a good break for Christmas we will be starting the year off by celebrating our 2nd Anniversary. All portrait sittings booked during January will receive a 10% discount on any orders placed. The sittings are Free of Charge this month too so there's nothing to lose.

2011 is looking like being a busy year for weddings again, but so far there are more being booked for March, April and October rather than the traditional summer months - maybe due to the unreliable summer weather nowadays! We have a few wedding fairs to attend over the next couple of months, with special offers available to those couples who decide to book on the day and during February there will be a Wedding Open Evening at the studio for you to come down, have a look at our work and chat about your wedding plans - details will be announced shortly.

With prices starting from as little as £50 these sessions make fantastic Xmas and birthday gifts for any girl.

A great photo-shoot which also includes the services of a professional make-up artist to apply your make-up for you  before the photos start. Bring along a change of outfit or two for some different styles and become a teen model for a couple of hours. We will use a selection of lighting techniques and poses which will bring out the true model inside.

With Christmas fast approaching we are introducing our specail offers for November and December portraits. We have a range of offers available with further details to be found on our website.

Our most popular offer last year was for our Print Package so with that in mind we have decided to run it again this year.

For only £99 you can get a 60 minute portrait experience and then choose 6 of your favourite images to be printed in colour or black and white. You will get 2 at 10"x8" and 4 at 7"x5", each will be mounted in a soft white mount.

Portraits make fantastic presents for any loved one, whether family or friend. How about a natural fun image of the grandkids playing, or get everyone together for a fantastic family portrait?

Sineads Photo Party

Sunday 17th October brought Sinead and her friends to the studio for a photo-shoot party to celebrate her birthday.

Whilst mum and dad sat downstairs during the party we got all the girls having a mini photoshoot each discovering which were the natural posers and who was a little shyer (not many!). The party finished with the fun shots and a floor full of plastic balls and feathers but I hope the girls went away having enjoyed themselves.
